Poland to vie ‘Runaway’

Iranian short film ‘Runaway’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 34th edition of Dozwolone Film Festival in Poland.

The festival screens works of directors and film producers who are under 21 years old.

Khorshid Alami and Negar Najafzadeh who jointly produced ‘Runaway’ are both 20 years old.

The short film is about the story of a girl, who like many other girls, we no longer see.

A professional jury panel has selected the submitted short films to be screened for the main judges and the main audience of the festival.

The festival was founded in 1983,on the initiative of the Federation of Independent Filmmakers and gained recognition in the environment of young filmmakers.

The Festival furthers the art and craft of filmmaking by inspiring and championing the work of filmmakers, and all artists who use the language of film and television to tell a story. Screenings will be held in eight districts of Warsaw.

The 34th edition of Dozwolone Film Festival will be held on September 21-23, 2017, Poland.
